My sad experience 15.srpna began in mid-2009 I ordered a Blu-Ray BD-P1600 from Samsung Electronics Andrew. He arrived in a few days, but it did not work right through the HDMI connection. I spent several hours that the problem was with the player and then contacted Andrea, who suffered the shipping label e-mail to me so I can return the unit. Andrew sent a replacement that came within a week. However, this unit has had problems with HDMI connections, compared to the first. Once again, I spent a lot of time talking with the backing and support Samsung LG (LG is my TV brand) as the unit tests to ensure that the problem was with the unit. She sent back to Andrew once again, but I have another drive or a refund, but decided to send it to Samsung for repair, although I have to pay transport costs. Samsung "fixed" units and returned to me. It was now mid-September. Unit repair was worse than ever. Nothing worked via HDMI, and

I had friends who have been fairly low-end DVD players, which broke in the first year, but did not want to spend on high-end Blu-ray. Discount on this was great, and Pioneer is a great brand. The system is very intuitive and the picture on my new Samsung 40 "is very clear. The first objection is that this is not the final version of Pioneer's Blu-ray (ie discount) and therefore has no connection Internet. This means that the firmware update CD will be transferred from the Pioneer website and you'll have access to BD Live content. A more recent version of the player has a USB drive and Ethernet port, so if it costs another $ 100, should have one.

I had this player since December 2008. No problem. I updated the firmware without problems and it plays all DVD, CD and Blu-Ray I put into it. Pity he did not even SACD, but what should I expect from a player that I paid only $ 179? My top of the line Toshiba HD-DVD has better sound and pix, but I paid more for it. For someone who was burned on the Blu-ray/HD-DVD war, I swore I'd never buy a Blu-Ray. I, however, and fortunately, I found this at a great price and had no problems whatsoever.
