I had friends who have been fairly low-end DVD players, which broke in the first year, but did not want to spend on high-end Blu-ray. Discount on this was great, and Pioneer is a great brand. The system is very intuitive and the picture on my new Samsung 40 "is very clear. The first objection is that this is not the final version of Pioneer's Blu-ray (ie discount) and therefore has no connection Internet. This means that the firmware update CD will be transferred from the Pioneer website and you'll have access to BD Live content. A more recent version of the player has a USB drive and Ethernet port, so if it costs another $ 100, should have one.

After venturing into the world waited for Blu Ray, I am very pleased with the Panasonic DMP-BD60.
The picture is great, the sound is incredible (I had to lower the bass on my high end 7.1 system)!
The player was stabbed twice in Hello "" when you turn. It was a link with a new player. It would not be turned off, so I had to unplug it. E 'back end.
The price of this player was very reasonable.

Excellent product. Once I figured out how to use my whole system - Sony 46 "television Z4100 Onyko 7.1 surround sound system, and this Blu-ray, it was fantastic. Connecting everything up was not that bad, but getting everything to play properly taken some doing. drives me crazy, that our first Blu-ray - Dark Knight - played at 480p. Finally, after several hours, has all the correct settings, so we should have seen it right.
