The Canon PowerShot SD800 Review
The Canon PowerShot SD800 looks very stylish with its compact structure and rounded edges. It has a retracting lens that she longs slip easily into a pocket - and this is a property of any casual camera users according's possible. But, make no mistake, the Canon PowerShot SD800 is not just for the casual user - it includes a 7.1 megapixel imager, a 28 mm × 3.8 magnification optical zoom lens (Canon) capable of giving you wide-angle coverage.
But what is the cake is the imageStabilization (IS) technology. IS technology has two amazing features: (i) it consistently reduces the effects of camera shake when images are taken at slow shutter speeds, (ii) it allows you a very clear picture in dark environments without red-eye to shoot - in fact, even in dark condition, four times as large as your dark photography to increase comfort. So, all the enthusiasts who had to haul a tripod or anxiety about the shooting in the dark can put their fears toRest.
The Canon PowerShot SD800 IS does not stop at the technology - it also includes technology that detects up to 9 faces face detection in a single image and automatically optimizes focus and exposure when the shutter button is pressed halfway, causing significant photographs of people.
The two biggies, the Canon PowerShot SD800 - the IS technology and face recognition function - make it a must for any camera user who does not want to have about shutter speeds, apertures trouble shaking the cameraPhotos and always cheated in the dark. These are concerns and problems of over 90% of all users and Camera Canon PowerShot SD800 is a heaven-sent for the camera, they are confronted.
On the physical front, the rounded corners and slim-n-trim design make for comfortable handling and a good grip. As already mentioned, it can be easily inserted into a pocket.
Now we come to the ease of use when taking pictures: The control icons on the Canon PowerShot SD800 are large enough to seeand can be quickly grasped. There are only four buttons to get to and in accordance with the character of the camera, they are easy to master. Plus, it offers a large (2.5 ") LCD display and an optical viewfinder - qualities that make this camera a joy to shoot.
The Canon PowerShot SD800 has an automatic exposure, which can still be serious user is oriented system. The LCD is smart enough to rotate the image, if you have a portrait picture (instead of the standard to decide,Landscape setting) and the ISO sensitivity range is large - 100 to 1600! The image stabilization feature notifies you when you when capturing an image, successful and this is a very useful feature.
Pros
The biggest advantage of the Canon PowerShot SD800's image stabilization technology. You can do the samba while shooting your pictures and still have a clear picture! (Hey, it was a joke!) The lens is sharp, the flash is very powerful and the picture quality is excellent- The wide-angle and tele-mode images have minimal distortion. The 2.5-inch LCD helps smart to shoot better pictures, and to review them, while the optical viewfinder helps when viewing an image even in bright light. The video / movie functions well and allows you, in slow motion shoot. Oh yeah, the Face Detection system helps a lot more great shots of people, even if they are surrounded by other things.
Is at full load, shoot, the Canon PowerShot SD800up to 270 images on the LCD display. According to above, the light has Canon PowerShot SD800 USB 2.00 High Speed support, and just looks too good.
Cons
Well, not necessarily all good things come to an end, but they break for some time. And this is for the Canon PowerShot SD800 to go. A big grunt, however, is that although it is billed as "no red-eye" camera, red-eye showing up here and there. Another grievance is that the zoom will not appear on the display. The date andTime pressure on the 1600 × 200 pixel images and the 16 MB memory card is too small.
Conclusion
All said and done, the Canon PowerShot SD800 is a good piece and is for the common man who loves to make his photos, but refuses to pass tuning aperture, shutter speeds, designed to ensure, and the little enhancements for the inclusion of the perfect image is required.
It makes photography an easy task and is not what everyone wants!
Rating: 4 out of 5Stars.

| Review by HMMWV (santa clara, CA USA) 2010-07-24 Prior to this model, the viera system in 2009 series players could not generate a unique serial number. Netflix's reaction to this was to not send netflix on demand to these players since their 6 display limit could not be enforced as all pre 2010 units didn't have a unique ID which could be tracked. | Review by Josh (Minnesota USA) 2010-07-04 The remote feels nice, and the player does what it is supposed to do. Playback of AVCHD on memory cards is a nice touch for anyone with a camera that records in that format. For a budget product, this does seem to perform well, and I haven't had any major issues with playback of any supported media. Thumbs up.... Read more Panasonic DMP-BD45 Ultra-Fast reviews | ||

| Review by T. Nelson (Virginia, USA.) 2010-04-06 The reason they listed the resolution as WSVGA is they didnt want to outright state exactly what it was. WSVGA is 1024x600, which happens to be the standard on many netbooks these days. This device does not need to exist. At that resolution you would do well to just watch DVD's. It is totally unsuitable for watching blu-rays. It cannot even play at... Read more Panasonic DMP-B100 8.9-Inch reviews | ||
